Mykelti Williamson

Mykelti Williamson (born Michael T. Williamson on March 4, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American actor. He is of mixed Blackfoot Indian and African American heritage. Mykelti is an Air Force brat

He co-starred in Con Air with Nicolas Cage and appeared famously as Private Benjamin Buford "Bubba" Blue in the Academy Award winning 1994 film Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks. He played a supporting role in 1995 in Heat, as an L.A.P.D. detective working with Lt. Vincent Hanna (played by Al Pacino).

On television he has had costarring roles in such series as Midnight Caller, the remake of The Fugitive (as Lt. Phil Gerard), and Boomtown. One of his first major roles was in the short-lived The New WKRP in Cincinnati.
