Myechyslaw Hryb

Myechyslaw Ivanovich Hryb (Belarusian: Мечыслаў Грыб born in September 29, 1936) was the second and last chairman of the Supreme Soviet of Belarus. He succeded Stanislav Shushkevich and held this office until July 1994, when Alexander Lukashenko replaced him in the new office called President of Belarus.
Hryb is now an oppositional politician and one of the members of the Social-Democratic Party "Hramada."
