My Religion - Ryan Starr (iTunes Exclusive Single)
My Religion, the co-written single by Ryan Starr was released on iTunes as an exclusive single in September of 2004. As reported by USA Today, My Religion was one of iTune's highest selling exclusive singles ever, selling an estimated 340,000 units. The impressive amount of single-downloads for My Religion is remarkable as the single had no promotion on iTunes. Although popular, My Religion was not released onto any other form of media (Compact Disk.) Mirroring the single's success on iTunes, 'My Religion' peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Hot Digital Songs. The single reportedly peaked at #7 on iTunes: USA Pop Charts, #9 on iTunes: USA, #79 on iTunes: Ireland, #17 on iTunes: Italy, #44 on iTunes: France, and #81 on iTunes: UK (pop music charts.) The singer and co-writer, Ryan Starr, has yet to release an album. "My Religion" along with "Stranded" and "Love Gone Bad" have been announced by Ryan Starr to be played on her upcoming tour starting July 15 in Memphis.

In the 2005 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records, they noted Ryan Starr to have sold the most exclusive single downloads in iTune's history. They also went on to detail the fact that My Religion was slated to be released to stores in early 2006, but iTunes refused to release Ryan Starr's single from contract.
