- The Sacred Heart Hospital staff photo is actually a staff photo of the Scrubs cast and crew. Bill Lawrence is in blue scrubs at the bottom. Jordan is holding Jack, and even Rowdy the dog makes an appearance.
- In the scene were Kelso crashes into another hospital employee, he is wearing in-line skates in one shot, but he is wearing shoes with wheels attached in the next shot.
- JD's screenplay, Dr. Acula, is actually a joke from comedian Mitch Hedberg
