[edit] Plot
Carla and Elliot make plans to go out together later in the week. Dr. Cox and Jordan have sex in a restaurant bathroom leading Jordan to take a pregnancy test which turns out to be negative much to Dr. Cox's relief. Dr. Mickhead bounces a patient to J.D. The man was brought in unconscious and his brother, Billy, has been at his side all night. Elliot tells Carla that she can't make their evening together, Carla acts disappointed, but then The Janitor reveals that neither of them had expected to be attending anyway. J.D. and Turk spend time with Billy who appears to be a genuine, honest, great guy. Dr. Cox has a vasectomy without telling Jordan. Carla, Elliot, most of the female hospital staff, and Todd are very taken with Billy. Unfortunately Billy isn't the patient's brother, but actually the person who hit the patient, knocking him unconscious. Billy explains that he feels a duty to make sure the man is OK. J.D. and Turk decide to call the cops and tell them about Billy. Dr. Cox decides to reverse the vasectomy after talking to Jordan. As the cops escort Billy from the hospital, J.D. and Turk are in trouble with the female staff (and the Todd). Jordan and Dr. Cox talk and Jordan tells him she doesn't want any more children, so he has a vasectomy again. Billy turns up again in the hospital to apologise to the patient who is happy to see him and apologises for throwing the first punch.
[edit] Quotations
- Billy: Lads, you'll sleep enough when you're dead and buried. You have to get out on the streets, you have to talk to a stranger, drink a beer with breakfast, take the ugliest girl home at the party...
J.D.: Done it! Done that. That one I've done.
Billy: ...go travelling to Texas, you know, go line dancing with married women that wish they weren't married. You never know what life might put in your lap if you open your arms and embrace it!
- Billy: Now listen, where I come from, you knock someone unconscious, you stay around, you make sure they're OK. Right? So, guess what? I won't be leaving.
