[edit] Trivia

  • J.D.'s fantasy about doctors using shotguns to put down patients is a reference to a The Far Side cartoon that shows a horse hospital, where there are several doctors walking around with shotguns. In J.D.'s fantasy, he refers to a patient as Mr. Larson, a reference to Far Side author Gary Larson.
