"My Funny Friend and Me" is a song composed and sung by Sting for the 2000 movie The Emperor's New Groove. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song, but lost to Bob Dylan's Things Have Changed (from the film Wonder Boys).

To date, it is the last song made for a film from the Disney animated features canon to be nominated for Best Original Song. You'll Be in My Heart from Tarzan was the most recent Disney canon film to win the award. (However, if Pixar films are considered, If I Didn't Have You, which was composed by Randy Newman and was made for the film Monsters, Inc., won the Oscar the year after).
