[edit] Episode overview
J.D. gets back with Danni after Elliot goes back to Sean when he returns.
Cox refuses to let a patient leave to play with his band who are about to embark on a European tour. He bickers with Grace, before realising that he has a crush on her. He arranges for his band to come into the ward so that he can perform with them. During The Polyphonic Spree's performance of "Light and Day", Grace invites Cox for a drink after work. He goes with Jordan instead, who has dyed her hair blonde.
Sean asks J.D. if anything had happened between him and Elliot while he was away. Considering his friend, J.D. says there had not.
Turk and Carla encourage the Janitor to apply for the position of security guard (when Irv is fired for attempting to suffocate a patient with a pillow). The Janitor insists on finding out who disconnects the alarm for the fire exit. It turns out to be Kelso. After enforcing the alarm a little too harshly, the Janitor ends the episode as the Janitor.
