In the background RFA Fort George (A388) takes part in "Neptune Warrior" "NW 063" multinational training exercise: earlier the same day at 9.40 am BST the ferry was warned by a US Navy warship "'Unidentified vessel approaching on my starboard side, please identify yourself. If you fail to do so, we will open fire on you with live ammunition.'" Daily Record
