[edit] Melodic Death Metal

I think a section referring to the Melodic Death Metal movement out of Gothenburg should be here.

I agree. Go ahead and add something. Tuf-Kat 19:45, 21 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Classical music

Shouldn't there be a paragraph on classical music also... or is that taken for granted? / Habj 11:21, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

I agree. The lack of one can probably be attributed to Wikipedia's systemic bias towards popular culture. I've added a paragraph on Sweden's world-famous opera singers to the black metal bands at Sweden#Music, and I'm copying that text here now. But there is of course a lot more to be said about other kinds of classical music. Unfortunately, my knowledge in the area is very limited. Feel free to add anything that could help.
Oh, and we could do with a mention of the many well-known jazz acts as well, such as Alice Babs and Arne Domnerus. / Alarm 11:38, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Structure

The structure of this article is strange, starting with speleman music continuing with pop and music export, and then continuing with folk song. / Habj 11:29, 7 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Melodifestivalen?

How come this article does not even mention Melodifestivalen? Bravada, talk - 21:44, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Björn Afzelius?
