Musgrave Group

The Musgrave Group is a major Irish food wholesaler, founded in Cork by the Musgrave brothers, Thomas and Stuart in 1876. Musgrave Group has become Ireland's largest grocery distributor. Today, the Group has operations in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Spain. Musgrave is the largest private company in Ireland by turnover and has expanded by acquisition. Annual sales are over €4 billion.
The Group's mission is to create exceptional added-value from food businesses that are different and better, and to share the value created with shareholders, employees, customers and the community at large.

The overall business is currently made up of five divisions:
- Musgrave Supervalu Centra - MSVC
- MSVC Republic of Ireland
- MSVC Northern Ireland
Operating the Centra convenience stores and SuperValu supermarkets
- Musgrave Wholesale Services
Operating the Musgrave Retailer Services and Musgrave Foodservices
- Musgrave Budgens Londis in Britain
Operating the Londis stores and Budgens supermarkets
- Dialsur which operates from a base in Alicante in south-east of Spain
Operating Dialsur, a Spanish wholesalers and franchise owners
These chains are the market leaders in their respective fields.

Musgrave Group is the only wholesale and retail food distributor in the country to operate an environmental charter, committing to measure environmental impact and to report results for company divisions and the independent franchise stores.
