Museum of Russian Icons

The Museum of Russian Icons opened in October 2006 in Clinton,_Massachusetts. The Museum was created by collector Gordon Lankton to house his extensive collection of Russian icons. Gordon Lankton was president and is now chairman of NYPRO, a billion dollar sales plastic molding company headquartered in Clinton with offices and manufacturing facilties across the globe. The Russian icon collection comprises over 200 icons from the 13th century to the present and covers almost the entire range of Russian icon images, symbols and forms. The Museum its self is located on Central Park, Clinton, MA in an historical 1830 brick building. The entire interior was re designed by David Durrant to include state-of-the-art techonology, solar collection systems and fiber optic lighting. Entirely climate controlled this new museum provides the highest installation standards available today for this majestic and extraordinary collection.
