Museum Street

Museum Street is a short street in Bloomsbury, central London, England. It leads to the British Museum on Great Russell Street to the north. It also crosses the junction of New Oxford Street (to the west) Bloomsbury Way (to the east). At the southern end is St Giles High Street. Formerly called Peter Street, the present name was adopted upon the inauguration of the British Museum.
The street includes some museum-related shops selling, for example, works of art, old prints, antiquarian books, etc.
The nearest tube station is Tottenham Court Road, to the south-west.
