Muriel Meets her Match is the first episode in season 3 of Courage the Cowardly Dog. It introduces the famous Spanish music to the show.

Two criminals, Maria and Milo arrive at the farm, and Maria tricks Muriel into giving her all her personal details and she disguises herself as Muriel. With her husband's help(who is in fact just a living hand)Maria steals a famous diamond in disguise as Muriel. The police arrive to arrest Muriel, but Courage and Muriel escape, chasing the two crooks. Courage struggles with the hand Milo when he gets in the front seat, but then the car crashes. A policeman arrives, arresting Maria and Milo.

(Muriel has lost her glasses and cannot see anything. There is a knock at the door. A policeman is standing there.)

Policeman: Muriel Bagge?

Muriel: Is that you Cousin Harold?

Policeman: You're under arrest for stealing the Grandmother Diamond.

Muriel: Ohh, Harold.

Policeman: Perhaps these will help you see things a little more clearly. (He gives Muriel some glasses.)

Muriel: Why, you're not Harold.

Policeman: These were discovered at the scene of the crime. You are to come to police headquarters.

(He takes them outside. Maria, in disguise as Muriel drives past.)

Policeman: See? There you are with the diamond.
