Murazzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 km southeast of Turin and about 40 km east of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 836 and an area of 27.7 km2.[1]
The municipality of Murazzano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cornati, Mellea, and Rea.
Murazzano borders the following municipalities: Belvedere Langhe, Bonvicino, Bossolasco, Clavesana, Igliano, Marsaglia, Mombarcaro, Paroldo, San Benedetto Belbo, and Torresina.
