Muntinlupa Science High School

Muntinlupa Science High School employs a special curriculum with advanced levels in math, science and english subjects. The school is located in 999 Buendia St., Tunasan, Muntinlupa, Philippines. It was formally inaugurated in the presence of local government and division school officials, the 72 students and their parents on June 1, 1998.

This science high school admits about 200 freshmen out of 600 applicants a year, thus making it the most selective school in Muntinlupa. The curriculum leans strongly on math, science and english subjects, and provides a strong platform for careers in different areas for its students.

Mrs. Madeline Ann L. Diaz is the principal while the guidance counselor is Ms. Rebecca Muldong. It has an estimated 600 students to date. The current president of the General Parent-Teacher Assembly is Atty. Joseph Naval while its treasurer is Mrs. Nenette Rojas. The president of the Supreme Student Council is Ryan Termulo.

MunSci, as it is often called, has two buildings, the main building, and the administrative building. In addition to this, the Tunasan Sports Complex is conveniently located behind the school premises. The school's facilities include a multi-purpose hall, two computer laboratories, a library, and twenty classrooms (with an average of 38 students per room). The school overlooks Laguna de Bay.

The only student publication is The Monitor, which garnered several awards from Division, Regional, and National Students' Press Conferences. From its establishment in 1998 to 2004, at least one editor had participated in the National Students' Press Conferences.
