Football/soccer club based in Munich,Germany. Founded by a group of young Irishmen in the 1990s, they now boast players from 15 nationialities. The largest English speaking sports club in southern Germany. Munich Irish Rovers Web Site
They have more than 80 members and run three competitive teams as well as a recreation team. Training takes place twice a week and games are normally played on Sunday afternoons. The Irish Rovers have the use of two separate but nearby facilities in the south of Munich. They also have the use of a large indoor hall. This allows for year round football.
