Mundheim

Mundheim is a village in southern Kvam municipality, Norway.
From 1837 Mundheim was administratively a part of Strandebarm. On 1 January 1902 Varaldsøy was separated from Strandebarm to create a separate municipality. The municipality consisted of the island Varaldsøy as well as the mainland district of Mundheim. On 1 January 1964 Mundheim was moved to Kvam whereas the rest of Varaldsøy became a part of Kvinnherad. The part of Mundheim which joined Kvam had 300 inhabitants.
