Multi-camera

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A multi-camera setup is a film production technique wherein multiple cameras shoot the same action from different angles. This can ease film editing, since the scene can be edited together seamlessly from the multiple angles, eliminating continuity errors.

Akira Kurosawa used the multi-camera technique in a large number of his films.

More recently, the film The Matrix used an advanced type of multi-camera setup to achieve its bullet time effect.
