Mullah Dadullah Akhund

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mullah Dadullah Akhund is a Jordanian Taliban leader believed to be spearheading the insurgency in southern Afghanistan. He is particularly brutal with some likening him to Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi. He is believed to have a prosthetic leg (Incidentally, Zarqawi was mistakenly thought to have a prosthetic leg as well at one point). Under Akhund's command, schools have been burned, suicide bombers have been recruited and Afghans who collaborate with US forces have been captured and beheaded.
