Mulla Muhammad Salih Baraghani

Mulla Muhammad Salih Baraghani was the father of Táhirih, the great Bábí heroine and early figurine of women's emancipation. He was an Usuli mujtahid remembered for his interpreations of the Qur'an, his eulogies of the tragedies of Karbala, his zeal for the execution of punishments, active opposition to the consumption of wine.
