[edit] About Me
Hi. If you've arrived here, you've most probably clicked my user name in Wiki or have done a Google search with my name. I'm Mukul Hinge, an electrical engineer by qualification but a multimedia freelancer by choice. In my spare time I teach GRE® Verbal and GMAT® Critical Reasoning at Dilip Oak's Academy ([1]) (Pune, India), an institute that offers coaching for the GRE®, GMAT® and TOEFL® tests.
[edit] Profile
As a multimedia freelancer I'm primarily into web design and 3D animations (walkthroughs and simulations). I also design logos and brochures. As a faculty member I get paid to teach GRE and GMAT aspirants and to read books - a fact that I still find hard to believe.
[edit] Interest in Wikipedia
Reading and inferential reasoning are luxuries that few of us can afford today. Nonetheless, human beings are inherently curious by nature and are eager to absorb new ideas as long as they do not have to take official tests on these ideas. A free encyclopedia, that offers one a chance to not only digest but also reinterpret and modify complex concepts, seems to be an invaluable resource for people who are eager to know more about the nature of the world they live in. Different people have different learning objectives when they read; some read to improve their minds, still others read to hold their own in a conversation while there are others who read for the pure joy of reading. One significant advantage of Wikipedia is that it potentially caters to all possible readers ranging from the eclectic to the highly exacting. I fall somewhere in between the two.
I have yet to make any significant contributions to Wikipedia but I intend to make some shortly.
