Muff Winwood

Muff Winwood (born Mervyn Winwood on 15 June 1943, in Birmingham) is an English songwriter and producer, and the brother of Steve Winwood. Both were formerly members of the Spencer Davis Group in the 1960s, in which Muff played bass.

He moved into the recording industry with a position as A&R man at Island Records. He was there until 1978, when he became an executive at Sony Records.
