MTP is an acronym with several meanings:

• Multiple Time Programmable is an electronic chip that contains programmable memory . This memory is writable Multiple with a suitable writing device.
• Message Transfer Part in the SS7 signalling system
• Media Transfer Protocol, a Microsoft protocol for transferring images, music etc. between a computer and a portable device like a digital camera, MP3 player etc
• Meteosat Transition Program, the EUMETSAT programme responsible for the Meteosat system of geostationary meteorological satellites
• Meet the Press
• Microtitre plates as defined by the SBS standard, used in biopharmaceutical applications
