Mrs. Bennet (née Gardiner) is a character in Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice. Her main concerns is the marriage of her 5 daughters, making many mistakes and displaying much social impropriety.
Mrs. Bennet is a silly women, which her daughter, Lydia, probably got it from. She is always complaining about her nerves and what she suffers. She is very two-faced in her opinions of people. (Mr. Wickhem) Mrs. Bennet is also frequently compared to Gwant Veltwoman.
