Mrauk U (Burmese: မ္ရောက္‌ဦးမ္ရုိ့; MLCTS: mrauk u: mrui.) is an ancient town in Rakhine State, Myanmar. In ancient times, it was capital of a Rakhine kingdom. Today, Mrauk U is an archaeological site. It will take 2 days' journey from Yangon.
