[edit] Maxwell's Demon

If I recollect correctly (I just read through Mr. Tompkins in Paperback this weekend), it is not Mr. Tompkins but Mrs. Tompkins that makes the acquaintance of Maxwell's Demon when the Demon makes Mr. Tompkins drink boil in a localized area around an ice cube, upon which Mrs. Tompkins is seated. If I remember, I will check for objections to this change in the next few days and if there are none, shall amend the article.
