Mr. and Mrs.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mr. & Mrs. was a popular television show that originated in Canada in 1963, debuting in Britain shortly afterwards. The Canadian version ran for 780 episodes, and the show aired for over twenty years in Britain, well into the 1980s. Created by Roy Ward Dickson, the show tested couples' knowledge of one another. It was hosted by Alan Taylor and Derek Batey in Britain, for a time, in two separate versions, and by Roy Ward Dickson in Canada. A Welsh version called Sion a Sian was also produced.

The format was briefly revived in the UK during 1999, presented by Julian Clary. Celador International has recently licensed the rights to update the format for a 21st century audience.
