Mr. Opportunity

Mr. Opportunity is a fictional cartoon spokesman for Honda automobiles in the United States market. He has appeared in numerous TV commercials from 2003 to the present, talking about the great deals that he apparently personifies. Dressed in a formal suit jacket and slacks, he typically ends an ad with the phrase "I'm Mr. Opportunity, and I'm knockin'."
Particularly across the Internet, criticism has been evidently aimed toward the Mr. Opportunity campaign. Both fans and non-fans of Honda have often claimed that it's a rather dull or lame advertising concept, citing its indifferent focus on the product at hand. Quite possibly the harshest example would be its latest ad which plays out as a blooper reel with Mr. Opportunity fumbling over his lines.
