Mr. Monk and the Garbage Strike is the second episode of the fifth season of the TV series Monk.

In the episode, garbage collectors strike, leaving an incredible amount of garbage all over the city. Monk becomes increasingly neurotic, causing him to make several mistakes on a case involving a political candidate and a murder.
