Mr. & Mrs. Smith is a 1941 screwball comedy film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and written by Norman Krasna.
The movie starred Carole Lombard and Robert Montgomery as a married couple who discover that they really are not married. This gives them second thoughts as to whether they should stay together or not. Gene Raymond stars as a friend and colleague of Montgomery's -- they are both lawyers -- who begins to woo Lombard.
