The Mozambique cricket team is the team that represents the country of Mozambique in international cricket matches. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 2003. [1] Their international debut came the following year, when they played in the African affiliates championship, when they finished in 6th place. Two years later, they participated in the equivalent tournament, Division Three of the Africa region of the World Cricket League, this time winning the tournament and gaining promotion to Division Two. They played that tournament in August 2006, finishing third, thus retaining their Division Two place.
