The Movement of Popular Participation (Movimiento de Participación Popular) is a Uruguayan political party. It is a member organisation of the ruling Broad Front - Progressive Encounter - New Majority.

The Movement for Popular Participation is the political party which grew out of and includes the Tupamaro former urban gurillas and other leftist members of Frente Amplio in Uruguay. In 1985, after the end of the military dictatorship, they chose to participate democratically in the national elections. It has since become the largest faction within the broad Front, the leftist coalition which won the elections in 2004 and took power in March 2005. Its main leader is José Mujica.
