I'd appreciate more detailed data on the european distribution for this species. --Circeus 16:25, Jan 28, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Mouse-eared or Mouse-ear ?

All my references list this plant as Mouse ear Hawkweed or Mouse-ear Hawkweed rather than Mouse-eared hawkweed. Mouse-ear Hawkweed also has the dubious support of Google with 7850 hits rather than 750 hits for Mouse-eared Hawkweed. Mouse-ear Hawkweed is also the common name used in Floras written in english and published in Europe where this is a native plant. I therefore propose moving this to Mouse-ear hawkweed (and complying with the non-capitalisation ethos of Wikipedia) . Any views ? Velela 14:11, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The use of Mouse-eared is likely due to my french bias toward use of adjective for vernacular species name. In any case, feel free to move the page. Circeus 15:03, Apr 13, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Alleopathy

I have temporarily deleted the reference to Alleopathy as I have found no external reference to it. Can somebody provide authoritative evidence for this please ? Out competing native plants as an introduced alien is not of itself evidence of alleopathy. Velela 14:11, 13 Apr 2005 (UTC)

A quick googling for "Allelopathy Pilosella" brings up quite a few references.[1] notably. Circeus 15:12, Apr 13, 2005 (UTC)
