[edit] NPOV dispute

Students at Mountain Vista are just the All American Students.Even though there are many types of groups, such a preps or jocks, there is one thing that every student at Moutain Vista has in common and that is money. With the average salary of the city being at 100,000/year students here are well off. Actually students here are a little to well off. "Students here live in their own world. I don't want to talk down on the school that I teach at, but students here are very likely to get worked over in the real word. So many students here are dependent on their parents. They do know what what it is like to make their own money. It's hard to see these kids fail after they leave to college, in which many of them do. It's just that they live on this alter ego where there is not a care in the world." says Ms.Pride a teacher at Mountain Vista. Although there are many smart students at Mountain Vista, which has some of the highest test scores in the nation, but just the whole college life keeps student's from succeeding. Many of these students haven't even thrown the trash or picked up a vacuum.

The quoted passage comes across as a personal opinion of the author (Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not) and lacking neutrality (Wikipedia:Neutral point of view). A faculty member is quoted without context and possibly without their knowledge.

Acceptable resolutions include a rewrite in a more neutral tone with citations or deletion. The reference to the school's test scores could easily be included with the demographics and cited from the school's report card on the Colorado Department of Education website.

This story was feauted in the Douglas County NewsPress about a year ago. I do not attent MVHS I attend TRHS, but I did see this article. Its not the whole article, but it is a snip of it. - Richie Cooper.

okay sure some of the students are spoiled but saying that they havn't taken out the trash or picked up a vacuume cleaner is the wrong thing to say mrs. pride. i dont know a single person who doent do chores. my parents dont even buy me clothes. i do everything for myself except for buy food and sheler. saying that we're completely incapable of living is stupid and wrong, exspecially for an administrator to say about her students, no matter how much she doesnt like them. -FluoCantus —The preceding unsigned comment was added by FluoCantus (talkcontribs) 23:40, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reversion on September 9th

After noticing another vandal attacking the page, I looked closely at the article's content and page history. Needless to say, the article was in terrible condition and could have probably passed for a Speedy Deletion for unrecoverable nonsense. I reverted the article back to the last registered user's version and will attempt to repair the article from there. A majority of the content removed was defamatory, OR, and inappropriate. It looked like a rival high school played a nasty joke on this school's page. I will continue to work with this article. --Targetter (Lock On) 21:56, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Targetter I would recommend more discresion while editing pages. You deleted everything that was factual as well as the vandalism.
