LiveWire is a brand of orange-flavored Mountain Dew produced and distributed by PepsiCo. It was originally available only for a limited time during the summer of 2003, although it was available in Chicago and other areas past that date. It staged another return in the summer of 2004, and PepsiCo permanently added it to its brand portfolio in 2005. Although it has been permanently added, it is harder to find than other Mountain Dew brands and is not carried by as many stores.
[edit] LiveWire Locations
The best place to find LiveWire is in gas stations and convenience stores. For the most part, LiveWire is sold as 20 oz bottles but can be found in cans and two-liter bottles as well.
