Mount Meridian, Indiana

Mount Meridian is an unincorporated community located in Putnam County, Indiana. It's called Mount Meridian due to the fact it's in the highest place in the area. While president Abraham Lincoln was making his way down the National Road (now US 40), it's believed he stayed the night there on his way to his hometown, Springfield, IL, to visit a friend.
