Mount Lindesay
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mount Lindesay lies approx. 200 km south-west of Brisbane, Australia. It is one of a number of peaks in the McPherson Range.
The mountain is a multi-tiered peak similar to a wedding cake and is covered in thick dense rainforest. The summit is not the remains of an extinct volcano as it's appearance might first suggest (Rankin 16).
The area is protected within the Mount Barney National Park. To get to the top requires some very steep rockclimbing (Rankin 57).
The Mount Lindesay Highway passes close to Mount Lindesay.
