Mount Kuring-gai is a railway station on the CityRail network in Sydney. The station is served by two trains per hour in each direction all day.
Most of the trains serving Mount Kuring-gai travel via the North Shore line even though the station looks as if it belongs on the Northern line.
Mount Kuring-gai has an island platform.
Mount Kuring-gai station should not be confused with the stop to alight to attend the Kuring-gai campus of the University of Technology, Sydney. This station is at Lindfield. Many new UTS students have been unintended tourists to Mt Kuring-gai station as a result of this oversight.[citation needed]
