Mount Kaputar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mount Kaputar (1508 metres) is a mountain near Narrabri in northern New South Wales. It is part of the Nandewar Range and has been preserved within the Mount Kaputar National Park.
The mountain is a prominent landmark for travellers on the Newell Highway. It is claimed that on a clear day roughly one seventh of New South Wales is visible from the top of the mountain. On the coldest of winter days the mountain may receive a light dusting of snow.
