Mount Fraught is the one of the higgest of the Mortmain Mountains and has a flat top. It is the one that the Snow Scouts camped on and the one that is mentioned through the duration of The Slippery Slope. Count Olaf is also on top this mountain along with his troop and a kidnapped Sunny Baudelaire. On the summit is also where the Baudelires first meet The Man With a Beard but No Hair and the Woman With Hair but No Beard.

The Snows Scouts are later captured while reciting their pledge, along with Bruce, in a net attatached to the V.F.D. Eagles. It is at this point that Carmelita Spats joins Count OLaf.
