Mount Caburn is a 480-foot (146m) isolated peak, one of the highest landmarks in East Sussex, England, about one mile (1.6km) east of Lewes. It is an isolated part of the South Downs, separated by Glynde Reach, a tributary of the River Ouse. On its summit are the remains of a large Iron Age hill fort, built around 100 BC.
It is a popular site for paragliding and is known as a site frequented by butterflies.
