Mount Anderson is the highest unclimbed peak in the Sentinel Range of mountains in Antarctica.[2] The Ellen Glacier drains its eastern slopes.
The mountain was discovered by the Marie Byrd Land Traverse Party, 1957-58, under C.R. Bentley, and named for Vernon H. Anderson, glaciologist at Byrd Station, 1957, a member of the party.[3]
