Moulton Township is one of fourteen townships of Auglaize County, Ohio, in the United States. It is in the central part of the county and includes a small part of the county seat of Wapakoneta as well as the hamlet of Moulton and Glynwood. Moutlon Township contains twenty whole sections and six half sections for a total of twenty-three square miles. It had a population of 1,704 in 2000, up from 1,618 in 1990. Of those, 1,682 lived in the unincorporated part of the township, and 22 in Wapakoneta.

It is crossed in the northeast corner by the Auglaize River and is bounded on the north by Logan Township and the village of Buckland; on the west by Noble Township; on the south by Washington Township; and on the east by Duchouquet Township. The parts of the municipality of Wapakoneta remain in the township. The township also includes the hamlets of Glynwood and Moulton.

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1. Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected township clerk, who serves a four-year term beginning on April 1 of the year after the election, which is held in November of the year before the presidential election. Vacancies in the clerkship or on the board of trustees are filled by the remaining trustees.

The township is split between the Wapakoneta City School District and the Saint Marys City School District. The eastern section of the township is served by the Wapakoneta (45895) post office, the western section by the Saint Marys (45885) post office, and the northern section by the Buckland (45819) post office.

The major highway in Moulton Township is United States Highway 33 which traverses the township though the southern part.
