Mother of Tears (tentative title; also announced as The Third Mother) is an Italian/American horror film, the planned third installment of Dario Argento's Three Mothers Trilogy, which started in 1977 with Suspiria and continued with Inferno in 1980. The film is currently in pre-production; filming was originally announced as commencing in July 2006, but it has been postponed repeatedly.[1] Variety has reported that the film will begin shooting on October 30, 2006.[2]
