Mother Firefly

Mother Firefly is a fictional character created by Rob Zombie. She was portrayed by Karen Black in House of 1000 Corpses and Leslie Easterbrook in The Devil's Rejects.

Mother Firefly is the matriarch of the Firefly family. She is the mother of Baby, Rufus and Tiny. She is an aging nymphomaniac, and some of her children come from different fathers.

In the first film, Mother Firefly was a somewhat campy figure. Nevertheless, by killing Lieutenant George Wydell, she became integral to the plot.

In the beginning of the sequel, the Firefly ranch is under siege by Sheriff Wydell's brother (John Quincey Wydell) and the cops. Mother Firefly is taken captive.

She is later interrogated by Wydell, but she refuses to give the whereabouts of her kin. Instead, she taunts Wydell about killing his brother, a revelation that pushes him to the brink of insanity, and he stabs her to death.

Mother Firefly is believed to lie often.
