Mostafa Amin

Mustafa Amin (Arabic:مصطفى أمين) (died April 13, 1997) was, for decades, the best-known columnist and journalist in the Middle East.

Amin is widely regarded as one of the Arab world's most influential intellectual figures.[citation needed] As the 1944 founder of the Akhbar El Yom newspaper organization, he is also seen as one of the fathers of modern Arab journalism. He died in Cairo.
