"Most of All" was the fifth and the final single from Jody Watley's self-titled debut, Jody Watley. "Most of All" was the least success of the five singles released from the album, it peaked at number sixty on the US pop chart, but did find better success on the dance chart where it reached number eight and the R&B chart where it peaked at number eleven. The single was produced by Patrick Leonard, who had previous success with his work on Madonna's 1986 album, "True Blue," in addition to being co-written by Gardner Cole, who co-wrote "Open Your Heart" for the same album.
