Mose Solomon

Mose Hirsch Solomon (December 8, 1900 - June 25, 1966) was an American baseball player. Solomon played professionally for many years and in various professional leagues through the northeastern United States. He appeared in only two games for the 1923 New York Giants, batting an impressive .375, but he is best remembered for his nickname "The Rabbi of Swat".

Solomon also played professional football in various leagues throughout the northeastern United States. He was a quarterback and drop kicker. Some still believe that he was the finest drop kicker ever.[citation needed]
