Moscow State Circus

The Moscow State Circus is a touring circus. Their performances cover all the familiar circus skills such as clowning, juggling, trapeze artistry, extreme balancing and strongman acts etc. All performers are Russian, trained in the Russian circus tradition.

The Stars of the Moscow State Circus is an offshoot of the Moscow State circus. Cost to enter as of March 2006 is around $22 US. The show is about 90 minutes long, not including a 15 minute intermission. It is much smaller than a traditional circus. The event is generally held in a gymnasium. The audience is less than 300 people. The number of performers is as follows:

  • 1 Emcee
  • 1 Strongman
  • 4-6 female acrobats
  • 1 clown
